This poem idea started after hearing about Rihanna’s alleged abuse. I have a zero tolerance for wife or any type of abusers.
This is a poem reflecting what women go through in abusive relationships in that it is hard to leave and hard to stay. External forces sometimes control the victim’s choices and for each victim the external forces can be different. Noteworthy to mention, only the abused and tormented can speak to this; only they know; therefore, this poem is fictional. It speaks to the psychological torment and fear, which forces some to stay, while still fearing leaving the abuser and living alone.
